Many people would love to garden but just don’t believe they can. Container Gardening is a great way to try your hand at gardening. Make sure that the container you use has a hole in it because you do not want the roots to rot.
Once you have your container, pick one or two plants that are pretty easy to keep alive and that produce well; herbs and peppers are great starter plants. When you add your plants to the container use well draining soil. Containers do tend to dry out faster so make sure your soil stays moist but do not over water; that is the number one reason plants die.
The cool thing about a container garden is that you can move it so if your plants don’t like the first spot you pick, try a new one!
Gardening can be a simple and enjoyable experience. Just remember, the plants do like attention and nothing last forever!
